The invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation is having a severe impact on women, girls and marginalized populations in Ukraine and is jeopardizing their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and some of its members in Poland, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine have signed up to regarding SRHR concerns in the context of the situation in Ukraine. They call on political leaders to ensure that access to sexual and reproductive health and rights is secured at all times to those fleeing the conflict and seeking refuge and international protection in neighbouring countries.
