FIDH third-party intervention: supplementary comments concerning discrimination in France against same-sex second-parent adoption
On 21 February 2011, FIDH, jointly with ICJ, ILGA-Europe, BAAF and NELFA, submitted supplementary written comments in the Gas & Dubois v. France case before the European Court of Human Rights concerning second-parent adoption in the case of same-sex couples in France. These supplementary comments complete the written comments submitted to the Court on 11 December 2009, by detailing the developments in legislation and jurisprudence since December 2009 on child adoption for a second-parent in a same-sex unmarried couple.
