Valentin Stefanovich, deputy director of Viasna (FIDH member organisation in Belarus), interviewed David Spires, Deputy Head of the Embassy of Great Britain in Belarus, about the abolition of death penalty in the UK.

Belarus is the last European country to still administer the death penalty. Viasna has been advocating for many years for the abolition of this inhumane treatment in Belarus. More information available here.
