Thailand: European Parliament calls for dialogue
On 6 February 2014, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling both government supporters and anti-government demonstrators to refrain from any political violence following the general elections.
This resolution includes many of FIDH recommendations, namely an immediate revocation of the state of emergency and urging all political parties to solve the ongoing political crisis through dialogue by initiating an inclusive and time-bound process of political reforms.
