Four times a year, the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) International Board, made up of its vice-presidents, general secretaries and president, meets either in Paris or remotely. At these meetings, one or more resolutions are voted on by the Board.

Paris, June 2025. The FIDH International Board expresses its deepest concern over the systematic military escalation which was conducted by Israel in Southwest Asia (Middle East). In addition to the attacks in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, this escalation affects several sovereign states and millions of civilians in Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. It is accompanied by serious and large-scale violations of international humanitarian and human rights law, commission of international crimes, and affecting several sovereign states and millions of civilians. In doing so, it directly threatens regional and global peace and security.
