Dear Mr. President,

In the name of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), I would like to address you and all the American citizens my deep emotion with regard to the tragedy that hit your country yesterday. Our first thoughts go to the victims and their families, as well as to the courageous people involved in the rescue of the victims.

The FIDH, and all human rights activists members of our movement around the world, have been extremely shocked to witness these terrible acts of cruelty.

The FIDH vigorously condemns these horrible terrorist attacks. It strongly calls for the responsible persons to be identified and tried in accordance with International Law.

Offering you again all my sympathy,

I remain yours faithfully,

Sidiki KABA
