“In Solidarity with the people of South Sudan” - High-Level Civil Society Seminar
(Addis Abeba, Paris), On January 18th 2016, FIDH and Oxfam International supports the organization, in Addis Abeba, of a seminar on the situation in South Sudan, ahead of the opening of the African Union Summit. The seminar, which brings together South Sudanese and non-South Sudanese civil society representatives, aims at contributing to the AU’s action in favor of the implementation of the peace agreement and at addressing issues of accountability and justice, reconciliation, peace-building, civilian protection, humanitarian access and the protection of the civil society space.
Mr. Arnold Tsunga, FIDH former Vice President and mission delegate to South Sudan will moderate the Panel.
