In the wake of the serious events ongoing in South Sudan, FIDH and 37 other human rights organizations, address today a letter to the United Nations Human Rights Council to :
– renew the mandate of the Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan
– address the need for accountability for past and on-going crimes under international law
– keep its full attention on the human rights violations taking place currently in South Sudan
