Spain: Towards grave setbacks for women’s rights?
At the end of 2013, the Spanish government approved a Bill imposing drastic limits on the right to abortion.
On 12 February 2014, a motion by the Socialist Party to withdraw the text was rejected by parliament. This Bill represents a serious threat to women’s rights. FIDH and its members are mobilised to prevent its adoption into law.

and sexual slavery.

include crimes of sexual violence, today’s verdict brings further
disillusionment to the victims of these crimes, in particular those who
courageously participated in proceedings.
