This December 10th is also the day of the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo to the Tunisian Quartet, composed of the Tunisian League for Human Rights, FIDH member organisation, the UGTT, the National Lawyers Bar Association and UTICA.
FIDH is extremely proud that one of its member organisations is yet again rewarded by the highest distinction, as had been a member of its Iranian member organisation the Defenders of Human Rights Centre (DHRC), Shirin Ebadi, in 2003.
