The UN Forum on Business and Human Rights is the global platform for yearly stock-taking and lesson-sharing on efforts to move the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights from paper to practice.
In the context of the 2017 Forum on Business and Human Rights that will take place from the 27 to the 29 of November 2017 in Geneva, FIDH is organising with 7 other civil society organisations [1] a side event on remedying, redressing and preventing attacks against human rights defenders working on business and human rights. It is particularly important to shed the lights on human rights defenders : as key actors in the pursuit of justice against corporate abuse, they are facing increasing threats from both public and private actors.
