Human rights protection mechanisms for Haiti, Ivory Coast and Belarus
During sessions of the UN Human Rights Council in March and July 2012, FIDH and its member organisations secured the continuation of the mandates of the Special Rapporteur on the situation in Haiti and the independent expert on the Ivory Coast, as well as achieving the creation of an independent expert on the situation in Belarus.
