On 15 February, the European Union’s Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) set up under Chapter 13 of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), and of which FIDH is a member, discussed its work plan.
The DAG will remain committed to support civil society as part of the essential elements of the agreements the Parties to the EVFTA have to respect and as part of an essential of its mandate.
This commitment covers the protection of human rights defenders and environmental rights defenders.
