Morocco: A major breakthrough for the regularisation of undocumented migrants.

On October 26, 2015 the National Monitoring and Appeal Commission (Commission nationale de suivi et de recours) announced that it had adopted measures enabling 92% of foreigners having filed an application to be regularised.

FIDH, with its Moroccan member and partner organisations, had denounced the shortcomings of the exceptional regularisation process initiated in 2014, in particular the rigidity of the regularisation criteria. These new measures are a significant advance of the new migratory policy.
