Conference “Human Rights in Russia in the Year of Her G8 Presidency and Council of Europe Chairmanship”

July 6, 2006 - FIDH’s representatives invited by their Russian NGO partner organisations participated in the work of the International Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations “Civil G8 - 2006” hold in Moscow 3-4 July 2006 and in the independent conference “Human Rights in Russia in the Year of Her G8 Presidency and Council of Europe Chairmanship” which followed the Forum on the 5 July 2006.

Four roundtables were organized and their final documents (see below) were transmitted to the sherpas of the G8 member States and so was the address of the Conference “Human Rights in Russia in the Year of Her G8 Presidency and Council of Europe Chairmanship”.
