FIDH Delegation meets United Nations Secretary General

An FIDH delegation, led by its President Dimitris Christopoulos, met with United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres on Wednesday 27 September in New York. On this occasion, the FIDH delegation presented the report "The United Nations Counter-Terrorism Complex: Bureaucracy, Political Influence, Civil Liberties" and discussed the needs for structural reforms and the necessity to improve the cooperation with human rights defenders in the fight against terrorism.
