France must change its approach with Egypt regarding human rights

20 June 2023. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is expected to attend the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact on 22 and 23 June 2023 in Paris. The summit, supported by French President Emmanuel Macron, will be an opportunity for the latter to confront his Egyptian counterpart on the human rights situation in his country.
