Guinea : 3 priorities for the the fight against impunity and the strengthening of the Rule of Law
Paris – Conakry, 21 march 2017 - FIDH and its partner organisations in Guinea publish a new report entitled "Justice, reconciliation and legislative reform: 3 priorities for the Rule of Law in Guinea". In particular, the report examines the fight against impunity through several emblematic judicial procedures; The necessary establishment of a National Reconciliation Commission; And the ongoing reform of justice, which, despite progress, urgently needs to modernize the criminal justice system and humanize prisons.
