FIDH conducted an investigative mission in Gaza from 24 to 28 October. This mission was able to document the destruction of infrastructures in Gaza during the last offensive led by Israel. An investigative mission report will follow in the coming weeks.

Subsequently, FIDH President Karim Lahidji led an advocacy mission to meet with the Palestinian authorities and will meet tomorrow alongside Shawan Jabarin, FIDH Vice President, with the president of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas. This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss the ratification of the Rome Treaty by Palestine and to call on the authorities to ensure that national legislation is in line with international instruments ratified by Palestine during the last year.
