REDRESS - FIDH - TRIAL - ECCHR EU Update on international crimes (10th edition)

Today, REDRESS, in collaboration with the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), TRIAL (Track Impunity Always) and the European Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) publishes the 10th edition of EU Update on international crimes, a Newsletter issued in the framework of their joint project on universal jurisdiction "Implementing the Rights of Victims of International Crimes in the European Union".

The EU Update analyses developments in legislation, practice and policy across Europe - both at the national and international level - on efforts to prosecute crimes under international law, ensure accountability for suspected perpetrators, and ensure protection and support for victims.

Highlights in this edition include analysis of the new EU Directive on minimum standards for the rights, support and protection of victims; an overview on future challenges for the EU Genocide Network; and updates on the work of our partner organisations in France, Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
