ACHPR/Ethiopia

On the occasion of the 46th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR), FIDH submitted to the Commissioners a note on the human rights situation in Ethiopia.
The note insists on the human rights violations perpetrated in the run-up to elections, on the situation of human rights defenders as well as on the situation of women. Some key recommendations are also addressed to the Ethiopian authorities.
